Greetings from Lucas, Yutong, Shalyn, Ian & ShaineWe had a busy day leading to 2007. It was first to CHC for the service. I had to stay with Ian in the Children Church in case he cried. This time, Shaine joined me because she was cranky after awhile being on her own. Then, it was off to Baby Ashley's man yue. Since we're near to grandma's house, we brought the kids there for them to take their lunch and nap so that they will have energy for the countdown.
In the evening, we were off to Pasir Ris Downtown for a BBQ with Papa's friends. We had a quick catching up with friends before rushing off to the 9.30pm service at CMC. We are supposed to stay until midnight in order to catch the fireworks. However, Ian was too tired & got cranky so we left at 10.30pm.
By midnight, Ian was already in dreamland. However, we tried to keep Shaine awake as she has been wanting to watch the fireworks. Therefore, the three of us stood by our room windows watching the fireworks at Sentosa and welcoming 2007!
