Shaine is able to speak in complete sentences these days and she can be quite chatty at home. However, when she meets someone new, she is in total silence. Nonetheless, it's amazing how these kids speak and pick up words from our daily conversations.
The other day, we were watching these program on pregnancy and babies. Therefore, I told her that her friend, Lucas, is going to be a gor-gor because Aunty Shih Lin is pregnant. I explained that pregnant means having a baby in the tummy. She looked at me and replied, "Shaine Shaine has tummy also, can put a baby inside!"

We have a new helper, Atik. Last week, after I passed Atik some clothes and told her to hand-wash them, Shaine was quick to give the next instruction. "Must put sak-boon (soap) ok!"
